About Saida Towers
Saida Towers is one of the largest condo complexes on South Padre Island and definitely the most resort-like in amenities. Consisting of 4 towers plus the timeshare tower 5 of Royale Beach & Tennis Club, you can book 1, 2 or 3 bedroom beachfront condos great for families with full kitchens and living rooms
The Saida Towers is located at 408 Padre Blvd, South Padre Island, Texas 78597. Saida is easy to spot as you come across the causeway bridge from the mainland you will see it just off to the left. These high rise towers are privately owned condos with no front desk. They were built beginning in 1980. The property has 24 hour security onsite, with a main gate that is secure at all times. You cannot enter the complex unless you are with a registered guest.
The Royale Beach & Tennis Club is located inside the gates and on site of Saida as its own tower. Mainly timeshares, this tower has 2 bedroom condos that can be locked off as 1 bedroom condos with a “hotel room” style 2nd bedroom. Royale also is managed separately and has staff 24 hours a day at the front desk.
The property also has a bar/grill located at the largest main (unheated) pool that has burgers and nachos type of short order grill fare priced around $10 and actually very good. Because the snack bar has a full iiquor license, if you want to BYOB you must use the 2 beachside pools and hot tubs as per TABC State Law, the alcohol consumed in that main pool area must be from that licensed establishment.
The property features 3 pools, two of which previously mentioned are heated year round. There are 3 outdoor hot tubs. On location, you will find tennis courts, coin operated laundry, and also luggage carts for bringing your things from your car like luggage or groceries up to your condo unit.
All condos feature a pool and beach view and private patio, excepting ground floor units, which do not offer a beach view as there are dunes and the pool area in front of the complex. Saida Towers is directly on the beach, with a private coded beach access point for all guests as well as an outdoor shower. BBQs on the property are not allowed, please note.
Saida South Padre is in a very desired south beach location, walkable to over 10 restaurants, including the #1 and #2 ranked TripAdvisor restaurants of Yummies for an award winning breakfast or lunch as well as Gabriellas, with features decadent Italian for dinner. Both are located adjacent to Franke Plaza. There is a Wells Fargo bank with ATM nearly right in front of Saida Towers, and Kohnami has excellent Sushi in the 410 plaza strip mall, as well as Feldman’s liquor store for your adult beverages or ice.
Please note, the Wave bus system is a City of South Padre Island sponsored FREE tourist bus that operates during the day and picks up about every 40 minutes in front of Saida by the SPI Visitors Center/Wells Fargo bank.
For nightlife, it is an easy walk to the Quarterdeck bar at Isla Grand hotel, or the fine dining and bar lounge of Sea Ranch about 200 yards away in the marina. Palm Street Pier, Tequila Sunsets, Louies Backyard, and BOBs (Bar on Bay) are all 5 to 7 City blocks away for going out dancing or for a sunset cocktail negating the need for transportation.
For activities, directly in front of Saida Condos are beach chair and umbrella rentals.
